If you are a mountain person with very little vacation, this is the perfect trek. This is a pure blend of Nature, Adventure & Culture. This moderate trek is doable for all age group and average fitness levels. Though all the seasons are a green signal for this trek, autumn and spring have a great aura in this region.
This trek begins with a drive from Pokhara to Kande and then a hike from Kande to Australian Camp via Dhampus Village. It takes about 1.5 – 2 hours to reach the Australian Camp. On the trail, you come across various landscapes, green hills, forests, and the Annapurna range in the background. Australian Camp and Sarangkot both are quite famou for good food and great accommodation.
On the second day, 5/6 hours of trek takes us to Sarangkot where we stay overnight. The trail leads through the dense forests, which are the habitat of various wildlives. The golden and crimson colors over the Himalayan peaks are really something so unuque to witness in the next early morning. This is the most famous viewpoint of Pokhara. After the sunrise, yoga and breakfast, we trek back to Pokhara from Sarangkot on the third day.
